As we wind down the 60th Anniversary of Older Americans Month in May, Suffolk OTB President and CEO, Phil Boyle, joined with Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s President and CEO, Chuck Fuschillo Jr., to highlight the $19,382.50 donation Jake’s 58 Casino players made to the AFA through the “Donate Your Change” program!
Hundreds of children will enjoy a healthy meal thanks to Suffolk OTB and Jake’s 58 Charitable Giving Program. The program donated $1,500 to Longwood Blessings, which provides weekend meals to students experiencing food insecurity in Medford, Gordon Heights, Shirley, Ridge, Middle Island and Coram. This generosity will provide local children with 300 Hunger free weekends.
Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel and Suffolk OTB have partnered with the Winters Center for Autism in West Babylon to provide employment for individuals trained at the Center into employment at Jake’s 58. Phil Boyle, President and CEO, was joined by Patrick and Michelle Winters to kick off World Autism Month – which recognizes and spreads awareness for the rights of people with Autism.
