LATINA SISTERS SUPPORT INC. DONATION

Recently, Legislator Manuel Esteban Sr., and Suffolk OTB President and CEO, Phil Boyle had the pleasure to present a check in the amount of $1000.00 to Latina Sisters.  This check donation was made possible by Suffolk OTB and Jake’s 58 Charitable Giving Program.

Legislator Esteban shared all the wonderful things Latina Sisters do for our Hispanic community to Phil Boyle.  They are a sisterhood dedicated to serving newly diagnosed, cancer survivors and their families through emotional, financial and spiritual support.  

Legislator Esteban, Sr. said, “I am so thankful to OTB President and CEO, Phil Boyle and Jake’s 58 for their generous and well-deserved donation to Latina Sisters.”  He added, “This money will be well used to assist those in need.”

Phil Boyle, President and CEO for Suffolk OTB said, “The Latina Sisters do extensive outreach in the Hispanic community to help people detect and treat cancer early.  We thank Suffolk County Legislator Manny Esteban for sharing their great story with us.” He added, “Through their volunteer network, the Latina Sisters provide the empathy, information and practical support that makes cancer treatment more accessible and bearable.  Suffolk OTB & Jake’s 58 are so pleased to support the Latina Sisters through our Charitable Giving Program because of their important work – and because we know that it will help save lives!”
