HIA-LI ANNUAL BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Today, Phil Boyle, President and CEO for Suffolk OTB, along with OTB’s Vice President and COO, Jim LaCarrubba, had the distinct pleasure of attending the Hauppauge Industrial Association’s Annual Business Achievement Awards ceremony.
Suffolk OTB was named as one of 5 finalists in the Large Business category, along with a distinguished group of other local companies, which were recognized as outstanding businesses for their roles in uplifting the Long Island economy.

ECLI-VIBES UNVEILING

Suffolk OTB President and CEO Phil Boyle was grateful to be present at an unveiling ceremony at Ecli-Vibes for a mural painted by local artist Lindsay Lange. The artwork pays tribute to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse and is now a permanent and uplifting feature in the entryway at the Islandia-based human services organization.

ALZHEIMER’S FOUNDATION OF AMERICA DONATION

As we wind down the 60th Anniversary of Older Americans Month in May, Suffolk OTB President and CEO, Phil Boyle, joined with Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s President and CEO, Chuck Fuschillo Jr., to highlight the $19,382.50 donation Jake’s 58 Casino players made to the AFA through the “Donate Your Change” program!

BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK DONATION

Hundreds of children will enjoy a healthy meal thanks to Suffolk OTB and Jake’s 58 Charitable Giving Program. The program donated $1,500 to Longwood Blessings, which provides weekend meals to students experiencing food insecurity in Medford, Gordon Heights, Shirley, Ridge, Middle Island and Coram. This generosity will provide local children with 300 Hunger free weekends.

WINTERS CENTER FOR AUTISM – PARTNERSHIP

Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel and Suffolk OTB have partnered with the Winters Center for Autism in West Babylon to provide employment for individuals trained at the Center into employment at Jake’s 58. Phil Boyle, President and CEO, was joined by Patrick and Michelle Winters to kick off World Autism Month – which recognizes and spreads awareness for the rights of people with Autism.
